How does a new church concept create belonging in a world where many feel excluded?
Creative Idea:
Collective Liberation set out to challenge the norms of church by creating an inclusive, justice-centered community from day one. nez&pez helped bring this bold vision to life with a distinctive logo, visual identity, messaging, launch website, and a film capturing their first service. The result was a brand and experience that felt radically different from traditional church starts—approachable, credible, and rooted in belonging. As they continue to grow, Collective Liberation carries forward a strong foundation that signals to their community: this is a church for everyone.

Results:
With a bold new identity and launch campaign, Collective Liberation made an immediate impact in Charlotte’s faith landscape. Their first service drew more than 170 people—standing room only for a brand-new church—and the creative assets helped spark conversation across social and digital channels. The new brand gave the community a credible and approachable face, turning what could have been a controversial idea into a trusted movement. Most importantly, citizens engaged: newcomers reported feeling welcomed from the moment they arrived, and early momentum established Collective Liberation as a church that looks and feels different—one grounded in belonging, inclusivity, and trust.
