How do we infuse trust and credibility into a rebrand of a distrusted government-adjacent entity?

Creative Idea:

When the City of Cincinnati voted to sell the Cincinnati Southern Railway and use the invested funds to improve city infrastructure, the Trust needed a partner to help reintroduce itself to the community it serves. The task was delicate: balance the weight of a 150-year legacy with a forward-looking vision for stewardship, prosperity, and progress. nez&pez developed a complete rebrand, bringing clarity, credibility, and trust to a pivotal moment in the city’s history. From strategy to visual identity, we created a brand that felt both historic and contemporary — approachable, transparent, and confident enough to carry the responsibility of shaping Cincinnati’s future.
